It is Summer in the Hunting Grounds of the Iroquois and this group has chosen to set up their camp on the banks of a stream that feeds into the Allegheny River. Fish and Game are plentiful here and life is good. As the season lengthens, they will move to higher ground to avoid rising waters -- or perhaps return to their Winter Village.
For now, this spot is ideal. It offers, among other things, a shallow stream crossing and access to adventure for restless warriors wishing to leave camp for some more exciting enterprise. |
