"Eye of the Hawk" is a small painting but John was still able to capture an intensity in the eyes and posture of the Woodland Indians that is found only in those who are all too familar with facing danger. This painting, if accepted, will be John's entry in the Eastern Region Competition and Show of the Oil Painters of America to be held in Richmond, VA, this fall.
