The first ray of morning tries to breech
a tangle of virgin forest. It skips and dances its illumination
across the moving shadow - shapes of a frontier family. Horses appear
ready and are being packed for a long day of travel. The fire is
being extinguished. They are breaking camp to face the wilderness
they'll call home.
